Dear brothers and sisters in Islam
Assalaam Alaikum wa Rahmatullah

All praise be to Allah and His blessing be upon his last Messenger Muhammed SAW, I bear witness that only Allah deserves to be worshiped and I bear witness that Muhammed is His slave and messenger.
Allah uses (without need) the clouds to bless us with rain, the earth to bless us with crops, the mountains to keep the world firm and stable, and He has chosen human beings to invite other human beings to the truth (i.e. Islam). Through out history Allah has used His believing worshippers to transmit the message of Islam. These believers are described in the Quran as helpers (Ansar) of Allah. If Allah willed he would order the entire world to postrate before Him, but he has given us a free will to worship him allowing some of us to be His Slaves. People will never become Muslim unless they are invited to Islam, for this reason to Muslims living in the west "Dawa" should be their priority. The western media today is the main source for transmitting a distorted message of Islam, and even though we hear Muslims saying that this distorted information is helping people get to Islam, the reality is that it´s only making our job as preachers of Islam harder. The preachers of Islam today find themselves defending what isn´t Islam instead of presenting the simplicity of Islam. Our worries for the mundane and our lack of organized Dawa is the main reason that still 75 % of the World doesn´t understand Islam. If we are helpers of Allah (helping His Cause) and start inviting people to Islam Allah will help us succeed in this world and the next.
The best thing that can happen to the Muslims in the West is that native westerners accept Islam, we have to open the door to them because they will be without doubt the best defenders of Islam and Muslims in the west. Brother Ahmed Deedat mentioned once that the reason we lost Spain was because the Muslim immigrants never gave Da´wa to the natives, so the natives always looked at them as foreign invaders, invaders that they managed to expel and defeat in the Reconquista of Spain.
Mexico is one of the last frontiers for Islam, the brothers of the Islamic Center in Mexico have participated ethusiatically in writing this small book "Islam in Mexico", to try and encourage you to look towards Mexico as fertile soil for Dawa. As for my self I can say that after 12 years of trying to invite Mexican people to Islam, today more then ever before I'm convinced that Islam can spread rapidly in Mexico.
